Here’s How Good The Recurve V2 RDA Is
The Recurve V2 has now been upgraded and updated to be more in line with today’s market while still retaining features that made the previous version so popular. The new design keeps ease of use in mind and remains to have the postless build deck making installation of rebuildable coils easy for vapers entering into the rebuildable market.

Build Quality And Construction
Wotofo is largely known for manufacturing rebuildable vapor products since its establishment in 2009 and is well known for its quality and functionality. The Recurve V2 RDA is made from Stainless steel and has German PEEK insulators to protect against short circuits.
The design and construction of the build deck leads to ease of installation of the coils and when used for squonking it has a curved deck to allow the e-liquid to the right areas of your wick.
How To Use The Wotofo Recurve V2 RDA
Using the Recurve V2 RDA is very easy from the installation of coils to wicking.
There are a few things you will need to use the Recurve V2 RDA the most important is a device that can safely run the coils. The provided coils require 65 – 78 watts this means you will need a device that can output a minimum power of at least 80 watts. You will also need a pair of scissors and a wire cutter.

You will have 3 coils included with the RDA you can use to install 2 or 1 depending on your preference, also in the box is a coil tool to help position your coils.
The first step is to separate the top piece of the RDA from the base, allowing you to access only the build deck. Once you’ve done that, connect to a device with adjustable power and make sure it’s locked or shut off. Once attached, unscrew the two or four screws depending on how many coils you are installing but do not entirely remove them. After loosening the screw, install the coil using a coil jig or drill bit, making that one leg of the coil is opposite the other but on the same level plane.
You will then put one leg into each of the holes and gently tighten them up and then center them evenly. Once you have it in the position you can start to tighten up each screw but remember to not tighten too hard as if you go too hard you may start to warp and twist the coil.
After this step, you can and once the coil is level and the screws are tight you can then power the device on and set it to the low wattage and gently glow the coils. We find in most sub-ohm coils we will start at 20 – 30 watts. This step is to find any hot spots which are part of the coils not heating up evenly.
To get rid of hotspots you may have to move the coil around or you can gently brush the coil with the screwdriver but do not do this while firing the device as it could cause a short. Once the coils are glowing evenly and have cooled down to room temperature you can then insert your cotton into the coil. Wotofo’s aglet cotton is designed like a shoelace and makes it really easy to pass through the coil but you will want to twist as you gently pull the cotton through the coil.
When you have pulled the cotton through and there is an equal length on either side of the coil you will now need to know how much to cut off. The best way to measure this is to push the cotton down the side and see where it will hit the bottom of the deck. You will want to cut a bit extra just in case, once you have cut the excess cotton off you will then simply and gently tuck the cotton in the cutouts on the ends of the coils. Once that is done you are ready to put some liquid on the cotton, attach the tank and be ready to vape.
What Is Daily Usability Like?
Using the Wotofo Recurve V2 RDA has been really enjoyable and feels reminiscent of the older generation of RDA’s. The installation process of the coils is very easy as well as dripping the liquid or squonking. Using the airflow with and without the airflow adapter was also enjoyable however we found it nicer to vape without it installed.
We used a 0mg liquid provided by Awesome Sauce called Breakfast cookie and the combination of the airflow and the coils gave great flavor and a great performance in vapor production.

Is the Recurve V2 RDA Squonkable
The Recurve V2 Rda comes with a Squonk pin in the peripheral bag and can easily be installed once the standard pin is removed with the provided Alan key.
What’s The Difference Between Recurve V2 RDA and the Recurve RDA
The largest difference is the upgrade in the design as well as the addition of the airflow inserts. Flavor has been increased with the V2 when the inserts are installed as this makes the chamber smaller condensing the vapor.
