The front of the packing is very nicely laid out with very clear information like the capacity of the tank, 2.0A USB C charging, the type of coils used for the tank as well as the chip and battery type and how many it needs.

The has a nice and large LCD display making it very easy to read and see information like battery status for each battery, what mode you are in, power level, resistance reading, voltage, puff count and time taken on last puff. The device can quickie cycle through power levels with 1-watt increments and also loops back around from 200 watts back to 5 watts. Settings are very minimalist with 3 presses of the fire bar it brings you into the different mods, Power mode, by-pass mode and power lock.
The power mode is a regular mode fit for any tank and is on almost all devices, by-pass mode delivers power from both batteries through a protection circuit and to the coils, this is more recommended with rebuildables due to the higher amount of power being output. The power lock locks the power level previously selected on the main screen.
By pressing the Firebar and up button you can switch the colours on the main menu to green, white, yellow, pink and blue. Pressing the fire bard and down button, you can then clear your puff count if you wanted to keep a count of how many puffs you get from a bottle of e-liquid. Pressing both the up and down button will lock the button and prevents the power from changing on accident.

The Smok R Kiss 2 is made mainly from a polycarbonate blend of plastics and has a metal top and bottom section making the device feel light but very sturdy and well built.
Smok is not always known for having the best quality device but with this device they have clearly changed for the better especially with the addition of a large 510 plate that is screwed down into the case of the device.
The overall feel of the device makes for a good usable feeling device as the size is reasonably small for a dual-battery device this could be due to having a less complex chipset and not having as many settings and menus.

The R Kiss is a very easy kit to use since there is not many complicated menus and settings, all you need to do is adjust the power with the two selection button and fire the device.
The Smok TFV18 Mini tank is also a very easy to use tank with its locking top fill section with a push of a button it can be opened and exposes the fill port on one side. Just add your chosen e-liquid wait 5 – 10 minutes to let the coil absorb the liquid, set your chosen wattage on the device and vape.
The TFV18 Mini is designed for direct to lung use and is a sub-ohm tank but you can use any tank on the R Kiss 2 mod being either a mouth to lung or a rebuildable atomizer like an RDA or RTA.

With the device being reasonably lightweight and small in size it felt comfortable in the hand and not as noticeable in a pocket and was very easy to use with the fire bar on the side of the mod as all you have to do is just squeeze the device to fire it.
The interface is great as well however when trying to cycle through the colour option it changes your wattage at the same time and the same with getting into the puff count, it may be something Smok can fix in a firmware update but can’t imagine you will swap and change colours to have it annoy you.
It will easily be said that this device can and will last a long time looking back at previous Smok devices the same can not necessarily be said about the tank as Smok like to bring a new type of coils and tank out every few months / years. The top of the mod can easily fit a 30mm diameter atomizer without any overhang so for the lovers of the bigger tanks this will fit your criteria.
