When opening the box you will have the device nicely presented to you with the usual paperwork such as the user manual, as well as a short USB C cable for charging the device, 2 and Pods.

The DotMod dotPod Nano is great feeling in the hand and does not feel like a heavy bulky type of device however it feels very sturdy, With its zinc alloy frame and beautiful textured leather sides, metal is used on the main part of the frame and leather panels on the sides for great grip and comfort. How To Use The DotMod DotPod Nano
The DotMod dotPod Nano isa very simple device to use and designed for simplicity, practicality and ease.
Filling liquid is very easy, with a side fill method on the pod that offers no fuss quick filling. The 2 mL will keep you going, even with an RDTL. 50/50 or high PG eliquid is recommended. When putting liquid into your pod, make sure you allow the cotton to soak up the liquid for about 5minutes. This will make sure its fully wicked and you don’t get any dreaded dry hits.
Replacing Pods/coil is also very easy. You simply remove the pod from the slot and swap.
USB C charging is great and offers much faster charging than previous Micro USB Kits, giving you quick on the go power top up when needed.
What Is The Daily Usability Like?
The DotMod DotPod Nano is great for daily use. A nice lanyard is included to keep it rund your neck or even tie to your kets.
There really is great flavor from mesh coils. The 0.8hm coil is great for Direct Lung in a restricted form known as RDTL and the 1.0 ohm for Mouth to Lung (MTL)
The dotPod Nano utilises pods featuring a side-fill system with a silicone stopper for added protection from leakage. A top fill like the Caliburn would be better for less mess and chance of leakage.
The bottom led draw and battery indicator light is a nice touch:

- Blue = 21 – 60% Battery
- Red = 1 – 20% Battery
USB C use and charging your device could not be more simple. You simply connect the USB C cable provided into a PC or USB port making sure it is no higher than 2 amps output and you couldn’t expect from an empty battery to a fully charged one within approximately an hour. Compatible with most car chargers or USB ports also meaning where ever you are you can get a top up if you need.

Final Thoughts
The last pod system from Dotmod was the Aio V2, so its been a highly anticipated release, and for sure it was worth the wait. The features are clean and simple, but elegantly assembled in a beautiful little kit. The DotMod DotPod Nano vape is great and you can have both MTL and RDTL. 2ml of liquid, 80mah battery, limited lifetime warranty… And for the price point what more would you need.
